MAPT Motorsport Drift car team livery
Tom from MAPT Motorsport Drift Car Team saw some of our Citroen DS3 Rally designs on our website, and asked if they could be adapted for their BMW Drift cars.
I love this type of project!
They have 4 cars, each with a specific colour scheme; pink, light blue, red and orange. The colours needed to match as close as possible to their existing colours. After some back and forth between us, the design was agreed upon and we set about making them.
The graphics were mostly made on our large-format inkjet printer using Metamark AIR-RELEASE print media, then laminated, contour-cut and finally covered with application tape.
The guys also wanted some extra bling – those MAPT Motorsport logos and roof numbers were cut from mirror chrome vinyl, and layered on top of black cut vinyl to give the striking chrome effect with a black border.
The graphics were boxed up and posted down south to the team. They have experience in fitting graphics so were happy to fit them without needing any professional fitters.
